Health care
The American Heart Association Palm Beach County recently announced three new hires. Brittani Coore is the new community impact director; Mariana Vulaj is the new regional office manager and Heather Lopez is the new event logistics specialist. The American Heart Association Palm Beach County’s staff members, volunteers and donors assist the organization in guiding efforts to reduce the incidences of heart disease and stroke.


Education
Keiser University has named Dr. Jennifer Illes vice president of the Keiser University College of Chiropractic Medicine. Illes will be responsible for the academic, financial, and clinical oversight of the chiropractic college and Spine Care Clinic.

Science
Cox Science Center and Aquarium has appointed Lew Crampton its new board chair and named Wendy Bingham Cox, Lorna James and Katie Carpenter as new trustees. Crampton is the former center president; Bingham Cox heads the education-centered Bingham Family Foundation; James is the first lady of West Palm Beach and an IT expert; and Carpenter is an environmental filmographer.




Real estate
Pete Muller Has been awarded The Certificate of Excellence for top producer at Coldwell Banker Hometown Real Estate. Muller has more than 25 years’ experience in the real estate industry.

The Keyes Company, Florida’s largest independent real estate firm, recently expanded its Palm Beach Gardens office with the arrival of a team led by experienced Realtors Ashley Cooper and Marc Schafler. Previously with Lang Realty, Cooper and Schafler have more than four decades of combined industry experience and have consistently produced strong transaction output throughout Palm Beach, West Palm Beach, Juno Beach, Palm Beach Gardens, Jupiter, Jupiter Island, North Palm Beach and Singer Island.


Charity
David Rogers recently joined El Sol, Jupiter’s Neighborhood Resource Center, as its volunteer and communications coordinator. Rogers previously served as volunteer coordinator at The Lord’s Place for four years. He worked as a writer/editor/videographer and social media producer for the Palm Beach Daily News for more than 20 years.

Legal
Austin McCoy recently joined Kelley Kronenberg’s West Palm Beach office as an associate. McCoy assists in handling matters related to first-party property insurance defense and is admitted to practice law in Florida and South Carolina. Kelley Kronenberg is a multi-practice business law firm with more than 400 employees, over 175 attorneys, and 12 locations throughout Florida and the United States.
