Main Street Chiropractic adjusts standings in five-pin bowling league standings

Heading down the stretch of the second segment of the Niagara Five Pin Mixed Pro League, Dr. Allison Zaruk’s Main Street Chiropractic squad took matters into their own hands as the standings are growing ever tighter, notching a 2-1 win over the Mr. Eavestrough Gutterballs in a match decided by only 48 pins.

The Chiropractic team was led by Vicky Robins’ 677 (271, 220) and the push she got from Bill Stockill’s 667 (248, 227) and Brian McFarlane’s 646 (248, 207).

Rob Fisher and Brad Maurice led the Gutterballs with 730 (236, 264, 230) and Brad Maurice 633 (260), respectively.

The Lakeside Electrical Lightning took out the Cornhole Creations in a 3-0 sweep, as Shawn Pellizari had a great night to led the winners, rolling a stellar 782 (218, 328, 236) while Dave Pendlebury backed him up with 704 (216, 233, 255).

Cornhole Creations shot back with Payton Peters, who had the best individual performance of the evening, a fantastic 847 (286, 365. Chris Disher checked in with 672 (253, 218).

The Harbour Estates Winey Loonies kept things rolling along their way, knocking off the Scorecard Harry’s Half Pints 2-1.

Tim Dixon led the way for the victors with 722 (220, 252, 250). Wilma Vanderzwaag followed closely with 700 (205, 249, 246), Trish Aubertin added 653 (273, 212) with Paul Asselin right behind her, tossing 648 (220, 208).

The Half Pints returned fire with Jeff Stevens’ best set of the season, a solid 790 (210, 243, 337) and Sarah Stevens, who rounded things out with 644 (203, 261).

In the nightcap, the league-leading Rozie’s Cafe Alley Cats whitewashed the Global Financial Wizards 3-0.

Tyler Wendel took the reins for the Alley Cats, tossing a steady 739 (219, 275, 245) while getting helped along by Wendy Bonnette’s 648 (251, 217).

The Wizards were led by Josh Robins, who rolled 669 (245, 235).
