Mark Henry Reveals The Most Fun Opponent He Ever Faced

During his career Mark Henry faced some of the biggest names of all-time, but some of these clashes were more fun than others.

When Mark Henry signed with WWE in 1996, he did so with no prior wrestling experience. However, by the time he left a little over 24 years later, he was a former World Champion and a WWE Hall of Famer.

This glittering career meant that Henry had the chance to test himself against many of the greats of the industry, such as The Undertaker, Randy Orton and Kurt Angle.

Appearing in a new video with Dr. Beau Hightower, Henry reflected on his in-ring career as he was given a chiropractic adjustment. The ‘World’s Strongest Man’ said that out of all the greats that he wrestled, he had the most fun with Rey Mysterio.

“I had the most fun wrestling Rey Mysterio,” Henry said. “But [I also worked with] The Undertaker and Paul Wight, and, Randy Orton. I had classics with Kurt Angle, those guys were so much fun to work with. I had matches CM Punk, we had some really really good matches. I worked with everybody, literally, everybody in the last 24 years from people like Flair and Bullet Bob Armstrong to Undertaker and Kane, yeah you know, Big Show at the time, everybody in between.”

Mark Henry left WWE in early 2021, before signing with AEW in May, debuting at All or Nothing. In his new role, Henry works backstage as a coach and mentor, while also appearing as an interviewer on AEW Rampage.

The former WWE Champion has previously refused to rule out a return to the ring, but he was less than enthusiastic when the prospect came up during an interview in December.
