A new retail building is coming to a part of southwest Sioux Falls with not much land left for new construction.
The retail center will be on 57th Street one-quarter mile west of Louise Avenue.
Owners Nate and Sabrina DeJong also own Highest Health Chiropractic, which will occupy about half the building. It opened in 2016 and will be moving from nearby 3601 W. 57th St.
“We are so excited for this move and upgrade in facilities,” Nate De Jong said. “It will allow us to serve our patients and their families at an even better level. Some days we are simply running out of space.”
The practice uses torque release technique and focuses heavily on neurologically based chiropractic care during pregnancy and on pediatric care, he said.
“We love serving our families and giving our practice members a vehicle to contribute to causes greater than themselves and impacting our community at large,” DeJong said.
While there are no leases to announce for the rest of the building yet, “interest has included a juice bar, professional and medical offices,” said listing broker Jon Fick of 605 Real Estate. “A juice bar or coffee shop would work great, professional or medical service providers such an an attorney, CPA, dentist, therapist or retail of some sort.”
The building is scheduled to be done around Thanksgiving. The area itself is mature as far as other retail, with Casey’s General Store, McDonald’s and nearby retail centers.
