DES MOINES, Iowa–The Iowa Chiropractic Society (ICS) announced Senator Mark Lofgren as its Champion of Chiropractic Award winner. Nominated by their peers, professional awards are presented each year to members, leaders, or elected officials who make a significant difference in the profession.
The Champion of Chiropractic award is a special award presented by the Iowa Chiropractic Society each year to a non-chiropractor who has served the chiropractic profession admirably.
Senator Mark Lofgren was presented a Champion of Chiropractic Award for his leadership in the most recent legislative session that helped protect and expand the scope of practice for chiropractors.
“We appreciate Senator Lofgren’s contributions to assist in getting legislation passed in a difficult year that helps chiropractors and patients. He invested his time, talent, and resources for the betterment of the profession. He is truly a Champion of Chiropractic,” said Carl Lingen, executive director of the Iowa Chiropractic Society.
