HOLLAND TWP. — Five years after opening in Holland Town Center, Drs. Andrew and Cait Seppo have sold their practice at Seppo Chiropractic, and a new doc is in the house.
Dr. Christian Koch, born and raised in the Midwest, was looking for a small-town community for his family when he stumbled on the business.

“I’ve been in Chicago treating patients for the last two years,” he said. “I grew up in a very small town, similar to Zeeland. My wife and I are both from the same small town, so after we got married and spent about five years in Chicago, we wanted to really sit down and figure out where we wanted to grow our family — to get plugged into a community.”
Koch ran across Seppo and heard the owners were selling their office.
“I had a chance to meet them and it kind of fell into its own being,” he said. “I’ve been taking over during the last six or seven weeks and getting adjusted to the business.”

Koch has a more modern approach, he says, than many chiropractors in West Michigan.
“It’s a modernistic approach to physical medicine in the realm of having a patient be an active participant and really understand what’s causing the symptoms and how to help moving forward,” he said. “I implement that alongside other parts of care. We offer more individualized treatments guided by our patients, rather than doing things that aren’t always warranted or necessary.”
That education, Koch said, is central to Seppo’s approach moving forward.
“We’re very excited and happy to be here to help serve people,” he said.
